Sketches of an uneventful life. My thoughts, poems and ramblings, curated in a blog, a minuscule home in the vast internet. Welcome, friend and thank you for the visit.
I forgave the Sun
For burning me to ashes.
Because you loved the warmth
Of mellow sunshine.
I forgave the Sea
For drowning me in melancholy.
Because you said the crashing waves
Brought peace to your heart.
I forgave the Wind
That screamed in my ears
Because you heard it whisper
Soft songs that made you smile.
I forgave the harsh Winter
For the cold air numbed my senses
But you saw pristine beauty
As the snow crashed from Heavens
And then I forgave the World
That broke me down to my knee.
Because out of countless souls
It led you to me.
It led you to me.
And I forgive you
For keeping the love I gave
And letting me drown
In lovelessness.
Tsuchiya Koitsu: Spring Snow at Maruyama, Kyoto – Japanese Art.
I write my thoughts. Mostly.
I write poems.
Then I also write about movies, music, arts and culture, science and sometimes give my perspective on the present world.
I am not pretentious. I am not an expert of any sort and neither do I claim to be. I am just expressing my opinions and views.
I love rain and on a Sunday evening you will find me with a cup of tea and a French dictionary.
No.
Not really.
I will actually be sleeping.
But I do like learning new languages and I love words. Just words.
Weird, huh?
And I like poetry.
And cheese.
And funny people.
Geez, the world needs more of them.
This is the most important opinion that I have at present.
I need to write more down.
To be credible in this world, I presume. So excuse me, I need to go.

“I forgave” – I personally loved the 1st paragraph more. The way you expressed it , really touchy. Could feel that pain which gives pleasure.
